Philipsen looked so good in green, but in yellow he looks like a giant baby. Which honestly I believe he might be so maybe it's fitting :poutingcat::screamcat::joycat:

Today no way to recognize riders bc of rain jackets. Better than usual but no numbers on jackets.

yes I was thinking oh joy its one of those everyones in black days, presumably if the rain is really heavy /low cloud we might not even get helicopter pictures ? :(

209 km is the longest stage!? In the years 1919-1924 they always did a stage of 482 km, from Les Sables-d'Olonne to Bayonne. Nowadays they'd need three stages to cover that distance.

And they're riding much faster and on way better road surfaces these days. UWN.

Back in the day they had more and better variants of potatoes, that now don't exist anymore. This way they could eat like 300g of carbs per hour.
