like pog can cleverly steal seconds wheelsucking mvdp...? Let's just appreciate that ving is now outpunching Alaphillipe and Vaquelin (granted the latter wasted energy on some attacks)

MVDP's sprint was a work of art on a purely aesthetic basis. Only issue is that fugly visor a la Geordi Laforge
Tbf, in Switzerland Ala's climbing was actually better than his sprint and his punch.

Pissed off with UAE already ....why must they take everything from people like Lipo and Vauquelin

Allaphillipe is alive
lipo's move was dumb af, did he forget the finish was uphill?? There was a reason the other contenders were saving their legs. Even if no one chase Lipo he would have gotten reeled back in when the sprint started, the only difference being maybe MVDP had to launch his sprint from 400m and possibly hand the win to pog. Though now with the benefit of hindsight it seems like that would have been better for pog, so perhaps UAE should have hatched a plan for almeida to launch narvaez to set up a similar kind of situation.

Danish dynamo came to race!!! Jonas really jammin!!! Great moves !! Jorgenson great showing!! Remco not best result but big factor, he looked good..Narveaz, Wellens solid work.. Pogacar can and does do everything, guy is incredible!!
The heat applied at the base of the climb, burned up dozens of dudes!! Ineos had nothing, Rodriguez a non factor..Picnic with decent showing..

Vingegaard is very smart. He is always behind Pogacar and can grab a few seconds by just wheelsuck his wheel in the sprint.
Indeed, and its a brand new Vingegaard this year. Ive never seen him race like this.. So agressive and alert. If he can drop Pog again on a big long climb then he will win the TDF 2025 again. It reminds me of the old question; what person are you a Coppi or a Bartoli? Great tour so far.

Van der Poel does not win this stage if teams who had no chance at winning here (which were like 15 teams) just tried to go in the break but yeah
every team between 4th and 10th is probably satisfied with their UCI points

It is the only professional sport in which fans demand that athletes let themselves win.

I didn't say anyone should let anyone win...I am pissed that UAE have the strongest team that controls the race
This a reasonable thing to be pissed about. A country of disrepute with no cycling history , just oil money buys all the talent and then they control cycling...You'll find there are plenty in football and I will wager other sports who get pissed when money is the power to control the sport

Roglic so washed no one cares even in the slightest anymore and theyre probably right in their assesement, im depressed :/
It was basically like last year. Roglic wobbled through stage 2, 4 and 9, but nobody of Jonas and Pog really cared enough to eliminate him proper. This year it seems worse though.

Well, I don't conclude from these attacks by Vingegaard that he's going to win the Tour; quite the opposite. Without needing to attack, I've seen Pogacar doing much more easily than Vingegaard. The feeling Pogacar is transmitting is incredible.

He hasn't really done anything, but it's noticeable in his ease in gaining positions.

Today he could have won with an early attack, but he chose to leave it to the sprint.

The feeling is that he'll finish alone in the first hard finish.

You still need to be very strong to fight for top places in a finish like that and Vingo showed it today.
Of course, I'm not criticizing Vingegaard. It's really the opposite, he knows he can't beat Pogacar in a sprint and he tries everything to stay on his wheel to grab some bonifications.

Looked like Pogi waited to long with the sprint. Super nice win for vdP!

Lipo courageous, but did he loose time?

Edit: nah, Pogi just not fast enough from the overhead.
I agree with Lipowitz launching, excellent move, he obviously thought he had more in the bank, his legs wet empty before drilling 100% for @100 meters!! Alaphilippe, great moves but 2 moves too many, he should have only countered the favorites, but both guys attacking was bold. Oscar Onley having some great weeks of racing, brought solid form to Tour, looking great. Roglic underwhelming..
