Has there been any word on GC neutralisation and/or whether the first part of the stage is still ceremonial?
No word yet. But it's raining at the start line now. I think they will be very cautious and better safe than sorry, so probably GC neutralisation.

Blithering. I thought it was a proper evening stage as it had been recently. I have a cousin to watch in the All-Ireland Football final this afternoon.
It's sad that Gaelic Football has become so tactical now. A bit like watching team sky win the tour back in the day...

The French are unhappy with Pog

“His sulking, his grumbling, his general bad mood for several days has been clouding and disrupting the atmosphere at the end of the Tour de France,” wrote Alexandre Roos. “Because how can we be enthusiastic if the Yellow Jersey himself gives the impression of being bored, of living a painful experience, of sulking when he has achieved an exceptional race, four stage victories, and total mastery?”

Dance, bear, dance!

I'm going to resist generalizing from Alexandre Roos to "the French". But I agree that Pog has appeared less than enthusiastic over the last few days in particular. He seems happy today though.

Why they are not racing, damn. I was hopeful teams would rip the script in pieces and take off for a fierce late afternoon in Paris..

I feel sympathy for Pog, the pressure he is under and the intensity of the race clearly takes its toll, especially when you've it three times and the novelty is wearing off. That said, the fact he's seemed so checked out has definitely detracted from the final week of the Tour and left it feeling like a bit of a damp squib.

Looks like they still need to take pictures.
Hope that something will happen when all that is done.
But maybe they will wait for the circuit to start.

God, Bengsch what is wrong with you, Lipo got 3rd, stop whining about Roglic not playing the super dom!

"It's a bit sad, I said it in a broadcast the other day, he could have made himself immortal if he rode for Lipo, but he didn't!"
