Impressive acceleration from Van Aert, obviously the fact that the stage was just raced for 80km helped him but it was still a great solo win.

Pogačar dignifying the jersey and more important than all, having fun. The stage result today was not what really mattered something that a few here don't seem to realise.

Ballerini giving more precious points to Astana, Vino will be happy. Mohorič doing a fine race too as did Jorgenson for his teammate.

Far as I'm concerned this finish beats the absolute hell out of the traditional procession, that was amazing.
Congrats to Tadej for lighting it up and riding like a champion, no shame in losing today, he's got three weeks of riding to win the Tour in his legs.

Very happy for Wout, a pox on all the naysayers! Big ride from Matteo today too, he played a big role in that win.

Epic way to finish the race imho.

Terrible stage, great result.

Happy for WvA.
Tadej was "robotic", "scripted", eh?

Pogacar did way too much work in that front group. Pulling on the front more than others, closing gaps, attacking the climb every single time. Not very smart racing but Wout was too strong anyway.
I think that was the safest thing to after all. But didn't have the freshness to compensate for that. I think it was the only reasonable way he could pursue the stage tbh

To UAE, maybe

Yeah, he's definitely in trouble on Stage 22.
I personally like Jorgenson's style normally!! He is a solid racer!!
If he had to go 1 for 21 glad he raced respectable today, good showing.
I also like breaking the golden rule and it worked out.
Pulling for Pog is normally a no no but today that group worked great, all were contributors and the big gap that they created made finish really good..
And there might have been, but didn't see crashes all over!!

I was a little nervous because of the slippery roads, but everything turned out all right in the end.

Congrats to Wout on the win, no 2nd place this time around!

Great finish. Those who wanted to make a race, did. I will not whine about those who rather rode safely in the time neutralized groupetto.

Shame for Mohoric as I really wanted him to somehow get this one.

You have got those so badly switched around it’s almost unbelievable

It's fine if you think the world evolves around your favorite rider (who made the front split) but I do agree with Brian Smith who said during the Eurosport broadcast that this wasn't better than a traditional sprint in terms of spectacle.

I would agree if it weren't for the rest of the Tour. Maybe a shor stage and a short climb aided him. I will say that it is likely good for his head...until reality strikes again next Spring, and he can't match either Mathieu or Tadej.
Oh yeah, forget it. He can't match MVP, let alone Pogacar on Kwaremont.
