Just tuned in . . . seriously there is no break? On a stage like this? Yikes.

It's weird. This started happening a few years ago and actually makes no real sense considering how some riders will remain totally anonymous from the beginning of the Tour to the end. And the fact the peloton is even bigger this year as well should probably encourage a few riders to at least make the most out of this race and show their jersey.

This stage will probably be the slowest stage ever with such reduced number of vertical meters (bar last stages in GTs where it is a procession or stages after a rider's death: WW for example).
