After having outsprinted him last year in Le Lioran, I'd say just holding Pogacar's wheel is going backwards

I've seen him in a lot of pain. Let's hope he doesn't retire because it's very important for Pogacar to have Almeida in the mountains, given the doubts Adam has raised all year.

I know you don't like me talking about Adam, but until we see him climb well again, it raises a lot of doubts.
Adam didn't look very good today either, and that's after several days of rest.

So Pogi strikes again. He clearly missed a dom between Wellens and Narvaez but fortunately reliable Remco was there! He should thank him after the stage. Almeida took part in a nasty crash, not sure if it was something serious. It turned out that MVP didn't have the legs after yesterday (I was wrong). Vingo is slowly but surely turning into a sprinter (ah, his legendary muscle mass).

Yeah, this was kind of wild to watch. Remco looked unbelievably comfortable breathing through his nose as Primoz and others popped. He should have kept the pressure on enough to keep them away but not enough to go into the red, then gone for it. Still might have ended up a Pogi lead out but at least he would have secured more time from the others and increased his odds. Once it came back together, he should have stopped working and gone to Pogi's wheel. And completely agree with whoever said that Vingegaard needs to go first. He has less snap than Pogi, so he can't spot him any time at all. Come around him and make him chase.

I was really surprised, he looked like he really had it today. Not a bad ride at all, mind you, but he looked like a boss there for a bit. Guess it's easier to do if Pog's strategy was following...
