Were there simply no pictures of the phase when AvV and Vollering took off? Would love to see the attack.

'Most'? She did it all, the other two just sucked her wheel the whole climb. Total lack of ambition from Uttrup Ludwig in particular.

Well yes, I was reffering about the entire time the others helped a decent amount earlier. Regarding the last climb youre right

Kasia was the strongest in the chase group and the best on GC ahead of the stage, so the others didn't really have that much to gain from helping on Grand Ballon, but of course it doesn't look great to pip her on the line.

FDJ wasn't popular yesterday either, when Le Net didn't contribute much in the break.

Nice stage. We only need two mountain stages for the women race. Now we understand why. LOL. No competition. But I was kind of expecting this for the women race.

Chapeau Annemiek. No room for doubts.

We can't know how strong Cecilie was because she never put her face in the wind on that climb. She looked to be climbing well within herself. Female Simon Gerrans.

Of course we don't know for sure, but if she had much more, she probably should have atacked to see, if she could drop Labous. But I think her climbing style made her look fresher than she was.

It is not dull if there are only two mountain stages. Tomorrow she can at least enjoy and just control the race or follow wheels.

This ended up being the first stage I watched. Wasn’t expecting much but was mildly surprised. van Vleuten was a cut above all the rest and she didn’t appear to have any competition. Not really any suspense and no comparison with the men as even van Vleuten appeared to be going pretty slow but overall it was an enjoyable stage. Looking forward to tomorrows finale.

This stage and San Sebastian reminded me of how boring cycling can be in the last hour. I almost forgot after this year's eventful Tour de France.

Logically tomorrow should be one for the break when you consider 1st and 2nd is wrapped up and there will be a battle for third - However you can never be sure in women's racing.

The distribution of quality is such that I can't imagine anyone outside of today's magnificent seven taking the Super Planche.

Like I said before, this was to be expected and the other teams should've put more time into her when she was sick. Although with these time gaps 1-2 minutes more wouldn't have mad a difference either way.
I think Cavalli would've stayed with her longer but still, with an in form Van Vleuten there's only one winner.
Hope Kasia can hold onto third tomorrow, I feel like in the last week she was one of the most proactives and had to put in a lot of work after being caught up in crashes and with mechanicals.

Outside of that what a performance from Zigart, Pocagar wasn't just being complementary when he said she can be up there in the Vosgues.
Quite unlucky for her that the women's WT has so few pure climbing racing otherwise she would definitely be a bigger name. Shame that she lost so much time in the first few days otherwise she could be top 10 on GC here.
