Recently I've heard Banks, Deignan and Hosking state that teams should not help SD Worx under any circumstances - Surely team directors have come to this conclusion.
SD Worx is certainly not going to chase now with riders up the road

This is just good game theory from SD Worx.

Other teams wanna force you to pull everyone, just attack and force them to chase.

Sure, and it's what they always do. However they have the strongest team anyway, so it would be nice if they for once just pulled until the finish.

When you have a rider like Vollering, why don't you just drop the hammer with your team and just let her ride off in the sunset?

You can just ask the same question to the Movistar Team.

I think, both van Vleuten and Vollering know that the two last stages are so important and that they don't want to waste any energy.

Yeah putting Tourmalet in TdFF as only mountain stage is like putting Col de la Loze in Paris Nice.

It seems like Kopecky is riding to keep the yellow jersey - Better tactics would be for Kopecky to pull at the front of the chasing group.

None of this makes any sense unless Vollering intends to drop Van Vleuten with a really short, explosive attack.

Which means Van Vleuten should just drill the next climb.

Chase group not pushing —there is no one upping the pace so they’re stuck together even on 10% grade.

Vollering should have just waited for that small hill in the middle so that Kopecky could launch there
