It certainly looked like AC had abrasions on his hip and elbow, similar to Armstrong and others.

Versus didn't want to cause a panic by suggesting that Armstrong's injuries were worse.

Versus will spin for their hero, if he does well, it will be in spite of a broken arm, if he fails it will be because of a broken arm, hip, hand, finger, wrist and he is too good a sport to attack when the Schleck's fell.

I am not sure how anyone can attack without TV's in the front seat of the team cars...

I do think Armstrong will look for an opportunity to put some time into Contador... he hasn't some here to spectate so he has to do something because he knows he isn't going to do it in the mountains and the ITT isn't long enough. We'll see.

I think Contador is going to be fine today - the guy is a class act. It's Wiggins that might have problems he tends to get over excited

Heh. His real danger is going too hard and crashing, but frankly, gaining 90seconds today is his main chance of getting a podium in a couple of weeks time - there's a greater danger to his chances of playing safe the whole tour, because he isn't good enough to podium it safely.
