It certainly looked like AC had abrasions on his hip and elbow, similar to Armstrong and others.

Versus didn't want to cause a panic by suggesting that Armstrong's injuries were worse.

Versus will spin for their hero, if he does well, it will be in spite of a broken arm, if he fails it will be because of a broken arm, hip, hand, finger, wrist and he is too good a sport to attack when the Schleck's fell.

It's all going to be about who is let offthe leash to have a go... any team with a GC contender is going to keep their cobble experts close to their GC guy in an attempt to keep them safe and get them through

I think this includes...Flecha, Cancellara, O'Grady etc

Hushovd is the one that might be let go...

That was my thinking, too. Especially after yesterday, when he'll want to make up some sprinters' points.

I am not sure how anyone can attack without TV's in the front seat of the team cars...

Maaskant.... FTW (If Hes Jay doesn't stay away. Looks like Garmin is going to try to win this for VDV. Van Sum and Millar also good for Cobbles attacks.

Also, with no Domestic duties, Hes - Jay for Polkas??

I do think Armstrong will look for an opportunity to put some time into Contador... he hasn't some here to spectate so he has to do something because he knows he isn't going to do it in the mountains and the ITT isn't long enough. We'll see.

I think Contador is going to be fine today - the guy is a class act. It's Wiggins that might have problems he tends to get over excited

That Jurgen Van Den Broeck guy was seriously angry during that Sporza interview. Seems not everyone was happy with Cancellara.

A piece of information I wouldn't usually give a rat's *** about:

Order of team cars: QS, Saxo, HTC, Garmin, Shack, Sky, Astana, Milram, BMC, Caisse, Liquigas, Katusha, Cofidis, Lotto, AG2R, FDJ, Rabo, Cervelo, Euskatel, Footon, Lampre, Bouygues.

Thor might have a long wait if he punctures...

Does that change if Thor gets in a break?

I didn't read a word about this: how will Cav do on the cobblestones? He is doomed for failure or might have a chance?

If he punctures at the wrong moment he is done for the day anyway. Unless a teammate gives him a bike right there.

The ITT isn't long enough? Ya lost me there. Isn't long enough for who to do what? certainly you don't mean it's not long enough for Armstrong to put time into contador.....do you?

All hail the reverse jinx. :)

Heh. His real danger is going too hard and crashing, but frankly, gaining 90seconds today is his main chance of getting a podium in a couple of weeks time - there's a greater danger to his chances of playing safe the whole tour, because he isn't good enough to podium it safely.

First crash of the day!

Probably means it isn't long enough to get back the time he will likely lose in the mountains.
