Lance is losing time and possibly his podium shot (never really had a shot to win). Contador (and Menchov) have ridden much better then expected. But the time loss is not due to his own weakness... he was where he needed to be... but flats happen.
While I have no problem with this... it does bring into focus how stupid yesterday's soft-pedal was. Frank's crash caused issues (less so for Lance and more for the other contenders behind him). Why not wait for them?

Crap happens in a race. Lance deserves to lose the time he loses... but Andy should have lost 4 minutes more yesterday too.
