You have to admit it was a heroic ride by Armstrong to get back to that group.

That is the ride of the day.

I can hardly wait for Pill and Phaul to gush over that when I get home and watch the replay....

Contador did the exact same thing, bridging on his own to the Armstrong group, but I don't suppose that qualifies as the ride of the day, eh?

Think ride of the day properly goes to Ryder Hesjedal.

forgetting about wheter armstrong puncture is fair unfair or whatever...

hats off to contador i think he's done really well today especially when this stage doesnt suit him at all.. he was a bit back from quite a few riders and he caught up with them.. great work... andy schleck too.. vino did some great work as a team mate too... although he is causing him some problems now LS.......

Cyclingnews live update says Armstrong with Contador but that's false, yes?

The live ticker time gaps has been .... ahem...less than accurate given the reportage I have seen here. This is more fun, but I keep refreshing both like a madman.

Nope, not the ride of the day. Not even close. Only a homer or BPC would say such a stupid thing.

Uncool by Vino. Maybe we do have a controversy in Astana. AC mechanical. I was thinking maybe he was weak. Clearly no the case.

Ryder deserved to win that stage...oh well.

Punctures happen on the cobbles. Nothing can be done about it.

Lance is losing time and possibly his podium shot (never really had a shot to win). Contador (and Menchov) have ridden much better then expected. But the time loss is not due to his own weakness... he was where he needed to be... but flats happen.

While I have no problem with this... it does bring into focus how stupid yesterday's soft-pedal was. Frank's crash caused issues (less so for Lance and more for the other contenders behind him). Why not wait for them?

Because Andy's up front this time, so Spartacus puts the pedal down.

Crap happens in a race. Lance deserves to lose the time he loses... but Andy should have lost 4 minutes more yesterday too.

There you go again ... please stop making so much sense.

Yes like crashing is part of the game. But it's not fair, obviously.

Wouldn't you rather Armsrtong is beaten fairly?

BPC - if you just want to talk about LA then go to the LA thread.
