Not much help Tom Boonen gets from teammates..

Hes a great rider and hopefully he can get his game in gear again.

Im not sure, that Riis and Saxo bank Sungard are intererested, but would be some mix.

Contador and Boonen.

unfortunately boonen already renewed his contract with quick step iirc. a shame saxo would be the right team for him

jep, Boonen seems like desent fellow and to me, not to selfish like some..

it sounds like he is about 12.5 minutes from the peloton here at 10 km before finish.

The road kicks up a little here. I do wonder if these slopes will be too much for Cav's legs.

Of course. But if a support rider refuses to give up a wheel for his leader? I mean, WTF? He'd be headed home that day on a proper team. IMO.

Yes. But giving him a rap across the knuckles is one thing, actually firing him another. Ag2r only have about five or six really good riders. Gadret is too important to them to dump just because he can't be relied on to work for/with anyone else. If he was less talented, he'd be out the door so quickly his feet wouldn't touch the ground, but you know, what a rider can get away with or demand is more related to talent than fairness.

Damn right, and he's going to lose a lot more time yet. I'll be pi$$ed off if he gets tossed from this after the effort he's putting in.

If he somehow manages to avoid being eliminated by the time cut, Boonen will become a chief contender for the lantern rouge
