It's the same team that isolated Jonas and launched Tadej on the Galibier.
Inattention, for sure. Doesn't look good for a pro team.On pure firepower. But to get your leader isolated like this is just...
Yeah, one is not in doubt about his presence. You can tell Cavendish is in good form because he looks like he could start an argument in an empty room.
This dude with a proper team would cause mayhem in every single stage. Oh lord, give him a guy like Wout and Jonas would be in trouble in 21 stagesPogi to team: "Is there only Tadej in the front?" 🤣🤣😂

Could be interesting, though against an in form Jonas he might want as calm a race as possibleThis dude with a proper team would cause mayhem in every single stage. Oh lord, give him a guy like Wout and Jonas would be in trouble in 21 stages
No, not for at least 30 km.Visma at the front. More crosswinds soon?
Why not starting now? They are riding back northNo, not for at least 30 km.
The wind is weaker here. Why not starting now? They are riding back north
That's the thing: multiple ambitions. Each rider must be absolutely committed to Tadej.I don't think it will matter because of Pogacar's form relative to the rest, but you really want to eliminate as many variables and gain the maximum amount possible against an opponent like Vingegaard. Knocking it off on stage 1 because Ayuso wasn't too good, the farce on Galibier where he could've gained far more with a more committed team, and the struggles today might come back to bite them at some point. A disjointed team with multiple ambitions might not matter as much with someone of Pogacar's talents, but if Vingegaard rides himself into form then those lost seconds and wasted energy could come back to bite UAE at some point. Pogacar having to look after himself and use energy on a nondescript flat stage is not something you want.
They are too stupid to bring both Politt and Bjerg to the Tour, they had more rouleurs for the Giro...This dude with a proper team would cause mayhem in every single stage. Oh lord, give him a guy like Wout and Jonas would be in trouble in 21 stages
Vingegaard was alone against 4 Emirates on Galibier, what are you talking about. This dude with a proper team would cause mayhem in every single stage. Oh lord, give him a guy like Wout and Jonas would be in trouble in 21 stages
Nah, they are so bunched up right now I'm not sure what the plan is for today.Perfect time for a break to go, but will the peloton let them?
Interesting bit of game theory. There are only so many spots in a Tour team. Do you take an extra rouleur or two or just load up for the mountains where the biggest differences are made.I was talking about flat and rolling stages... [[content deleted]]
