So far all the sprint stages have started with a coffee ride pace.
Is this the result of having scripted stage results for Netflix?:D

People are still talking more about the brilliance of Pogacar avoiding a crash yesterday than about his role in causing it. I guess that's the benifit of being the leader in a competition.
Yep. It was a moment of inattention by him and/or his team car. Yes, there was a rider in front of him that blocked his view, and the hazard should have been better marked (maybe a gendarme with a flag). But a prepared team knows the route and knows what to avoid.

Big Mads made it to the start then so hope he can continue in the race.
As for Pogi's zig zagging yesterday, I don't think he could be held responsible for what happend behind him.

Good morning, chaps!

It's Independence Day in the US.
Time to once again celebrate the “Tyler Farrar wins a Tour stage on the 4th of July” legacy :). I was in France then (in fact I was at the Mur de Bretagne finish the following day) and the French press made a big deal of the “American wins on national Independence Day” thing. But apparently when asked about it afterwards he didn’t even realize it was the 4th :). But that makes sense: when they’re in the Tour bubble I’m sure the stage number is more relevant than the date.

That was a great day! I didn't know he was unaware it was the 4th.

I don’t like watching sports on my phone and typically avoid it. Of course the one time I want to—while waiting on a delayed flight—Peacock tells me I can’t access their content if my device is in another country (even though it’s a U.S. number). And the bars in the international terminal of the Helsinki airport don’t have TVs, never mind showing the Tour.

Lotto trying something but there doesn't seem to be enough wind

And no idea why they tried it just before they came into a covered area

VPN is the answer.
