Barredo should definitely get tossed for that.

Barredo only got a 400CHF fine.... and a bloody nose.

Barredo got in two solid punches but Costa flattened him with the elbow.

That was funny.

/that is not how you attack a guy with a wheel:

Barredo needs to get his left leg out in front. Powder puff punches with that crappy weight distribution.

Here is the reason Lance has been looking so grim, today:
Hope he gets a good night's sleep before those hills.

Don't you just love De Luxe Central France!:D

Carbon soles and cleats make it tough to throw a punch that doesn't resemble a girl throwing a ball. Gotta be able to push off with the back foot.

I think using the wheel is at least rational in an irrational situation. Never understood how a baseball batter can get plunked with a 95 mph fastball and then charge the pitcher on the mound and LEAVE THE BAT BEHIND.

Sumbeatch almost killed ya, m---erf----er, you're gonna need more than your fists. Go big or go home.

Robbie McEwen is pretty raging. Apparently it was a podium minder that ran out infront of him.

Well, that AND the fact their arms are as thin as most girls too.

He should try to get on the podium, then maybe someone would mind him.

So, who gets the upper bunk (where you can't hook up the IV)?

It's pretty annoying when you jump in a thread and advertise your photography while pretending to be on topic. There is a photography thread in the cafe, although personal profit is not the point there either. Please don't waste our time by bull$hitting us. I'm reporting this as an ad hijack.

That one is still my all-time favourite.

Agreed. Barredo had the chance to try the spinning backfist but went instead for the classic jab. Points deduction for missed opportunity. Cycling fights - what's the point?

Forget about doping. Those fights alone will plunge cycling back into the dark ages with the sporting world.

I dunno, it worked for hockey. Maybe pro cycling could be transformed into a combat sport. :D Oh, wait, I guess that just happened.

It looked like Garmin had the perfect leadout setup but they messed it up. What were they trying to do, how did they stuff it up?

The more I see the replay the more I see how great Renshaw was in setting Cavendish up. Great, great win. Eurosport: "If you take Renshaw out of the equation, it would be really hard for Cavendish to win..."

+1

also someone else said Renshaw is the only difference b/w Cav and the others....i don't know if he's the only difference, but he is the crucial difference. Lol, I guess/hope Renshaw is rewarded in incentives as per Cav?

And Cav might be a bit faster (maybe) but it's hard to say when he either wins, or sits up  then again maybe that says it all
