greenedge better then some said:
why low? who is gonna chase the break, greenedge nope, sky? other teams will look at sky to do it,
Agree. If 5-10 riders get away early, who are not any threat to GC, and work together, they have a chance to stay away. I dont think Sky want to waste too much energy, they dont care about stage win. Big question will be what other teams do.

But also think tomorrow is better chance.

no to many riders with GC leeway and are good climbers considering the only big group that came in late so far was all the guys yesterday who couldnt make it over the climb

I really think that Rodgers, Roman, Roche and Contador are better 4 then Froome, Porte, Kiryienka and Siutsou, plus BMC, Garmin and Movistar are really strong. So Sky this year is not that dominant.

Even Radioshack's top 4 of Schleck, Kloden, Zubeldia and Monfort is better than the Sky 4

All the breakaway action has been extremely disappointing the entire TDF. As soon as the neutralized start is over, the breakaway goes, uncontested. Seems like no one cares anymore about getting into the breakaway :(

The controlling teams are far too strong on flat roads. Breakers only go with their permission and numbers are strictly limited

Tomorrow there will be a fight I guess. Doubt this stage will go to the break.

I think that's largely been a reflection of the fact that the profiles have meant the breakaways have all been highly likely to fail.

But yes, it hasn't been great racing. No break has had more than six riders and apart from Europcar, Euskaltel and Sojasun, not many teams have seemed interested.

Gadret has been lurking very well under the radar so far. Seems to be in good form since he hasn't lost any time so far. When he's out of form he tends to lose time in the easy stages. Hopefully he'll go well today.

Probably is a designated helper for Peraud but that shouldn't stop him.

Break went without europcar!? Will they allowed to remain out there?

With the gap out to 9:00 there's not much they can do about it.

When Riblon won this stage in 2010 the breakaway was less than 4 mins in front at the base of the Port de Pailhères and Riblon 2:34 over the top.

He has a great chance to win again.
