This is so ****ing idiotic. They had Froome isolated for 4 cols. Now all he has to do is follow the pace for 2 cols - which will be no problem for him

Can't believe Movi and Saxo are so tactically ***.

easy now, the plan are still in motion.

and saxo useally the brightest of the bunch when it comes to fascinating tactics..

Another reason they should have challenged froome earlier is to try and tire him out for the rest of the race. Especially the tt.

The restday negates that.

Maybe they are riding for their own interests to grab the second place, not for your interest to see Froome being dropped while risking the third place.

Dont they say it takes a month to recover from Paris Roubaix?

A hard mountain stage can have its effects long after, not just the next day.

So Sherwen was just commenting on how the proper attack of Froome will come on the last climb as its like a mountain top finish... lol.

Today should get some folks some rest from complaining about boring tours. Saxo and Movi have put some hurt today on the rest of Sky, and taken a little more out of the legs of Froomey-boy. We still have 2 weeks to go, and it looks to me like the other contenders are not burning all their matches early. But maybe Sky did.

Imo, given that today's performance is exactly what I would expect in a human-powered GT - you burn it up yesterday, not so much left in the legs today - I think Froome's attack yesterday accomplished exactly the opposite of what he wanted. Imo, Froome has made his yellow LESS secure, and not more so. Too much, too soon.

Attacks all day today, and early. Man oh man, and Saxo and Movi know Froome is weaker today.
