I was just wondering if there was any place where they upload the stages (or significant parts of them) just after they've finished (a couple of hours or so), because I will be at work the entire day and it's probably going to be a great stage so I wanted to know if I should follow a ticker on my mobile while being frustrated over not seeing or trying to avoid it all day and find something on some website?

Oh, by the way, this stage is exactly what is wrong with Prudhomme as race director. 30km downhill, with most of that false-flat? Better idea, same stage length...stay on D918 and finish at La Mongie.

Exactly. If the riders want to, this could be a great stage, with massive time gaps. It probably won't though.

Exactly.

Last 30km is downhill, but there are 5 tough hills before that. Starting with Col de Peyresourde its 3 very hard 1st category climbs just after eachother.

Yeah, its up to the riders. They could let Sky to dictate tempo, or they could make it very lively.

Pinot might be ok on todays downhill after he didnt hae much confidence yesterday coming off what i thought was an easy descent of palhieres, he should have tried from way they came up.

Lars Petter Nordhaug (Belkin) said on Norwegian TV2 that he wants to get in a breakaway today. He also said that he would loose time on purpose on stage 8 so that he would be allowed into the breakaway.

Doubt teams like movistar will be aggressive today. The were probably pretty tired from yesterday.. Quintanas long range attack cost him, and valverde trying the big chainring... nein..

Has to be a move from a second tier guy whos lost 5+min or more. This is perhaps the most important day of the tour for the polka dot. If you're not in the break today, there will be tons of work in the 3rd week for you, and that will be tough with sky wanting more MTF wins.

Gonna be interesting to see who are serious about the polka dots. Rolland should have a go. Voeckler looked oh so tired yesterday, but sky had a pretty decent tempo allready on phaillieres, so who knows.

It is abit hard to assess who is feeling good enough to have a go, since 99% of the peloton looked absolutely broken yesterday....

They might not put time into Froome today but today is the day when the other teams can get rid of Porte. If the big guns attack early then Porte might have to hit the front much earlier than planned.

Who knows, perhaps he'll even get dropped eventually if he has to do 50 km or more on the front.

Kiryienka, Lopez and Kennaugh (maybe also EBH, but he didn't look good yesterday) should be able to set a decent pace over Peyresourde and Val Louron-Azet, keeping the break within reasonable distance, and then leave it to Porte on d'Ancizan.
