You wouldnt think so unless the guys in front slow down - and with Porte apparently now dropped by Evans i dont think that is likely. Going to be a chase after this descent but if Porte is dropped already then it doesnt bode well for him later on.

This will be a real steel-bath for Froome. With so many saxo and movistar, he cannot really follow every attack unless he truly is armstrong.

Lets say he choose to follow Contador Valverde and Quintana,, What if kreuziger who looked super good the other day goes, or any of the belkins?.. This is the day to do damage..

Its such a huge day and essential to pace yourself. Someone not in the lead group now, is sure to still finish top 5 today.

Porte isnt pacing himself though, hes in trouble.

1 big danger today imo is that valverde wanting his podium decides he has a better chance for it bringing back attackers (and pulling froome in the process)
