So who at sky read the diary wrong yesterday? not the rest day they seemed to think it would be.

Inexperience/nerves from Froome yesterday wanting to prove too much too soon or just bad planning by Brailsford?

According to Kirby Contador told Valverde to go up the road and he will later join him.

Some insane lip reading skills there (as well as misidentification of valverde as costa)

1 big danger today imo is that valverde wanting his podium decides he has a better chance for it bringing back attackers (and pulling froome in the process)

Better if he believes he can drop Froome and win the Tour, then go crazy in descent

One thing I noticed yesterday was how Contador was climbing in the saddle all the time. He looks a lot better today I think.

I want to see Sir Dave Brailsford NOW:D

He'll be quite happy right now, given his leader is sitting there comfortably. Don't go claiming victory yet when it's not been won..

Froome has been on the radio all the time...panic?

This is one of the best chances for the other teams to gain time...

Anyone seen Schleck and Rogers? Are they back in the Froome group or up the road still?

Contador definitely looks his usual self today.

Saxo-Movistar alliance can certainly put some pain in to Froome.
