So basically Froome has been isolated all day but it hasn't made any difference whatsoever. He has spent the entire day being paced by Movistar instead.

Obviously he'll have no problems following attacks when they only come on the last mountain.

I think Movistar gave up on Froome. They want to eliminate Porte.

To all those people who gave me snarky replies an hour ago when i said one would be better off going to sleep for an hour.

Could you please tell me what has happened in the last hour. What excitement might one have missed.

He isnt. Hes passing stragglers and going further back from the leaders.
He's keeping pace with Clarke at around 3 min down, it's the malliot jaune group that has accelerated.

Did you want Contador to attack 80km out?

Final climb is the only place. You cannot cut your nose off for one attack.

Wait. Patience.

It got ridiculous at Vuelta 2011 and has been ever since...
Like at the Vuelta last year, or the Giro this year, or the spring Classics? They were nowhere in any of them.

No. Kreuziger or Quintana. Froome would've had to do all the chasing.

Now he doesn't have to do anything but fight on the last mountain. So it's just a completely normal day for him now. Instead of a day when he should've lost the TDF.
