I'd be really surprised if del Toro won't end up on a decent pct or wt team next season. The guy races for a small club, still hasn't turned 20 and does impressive things without any team to support him (3 consecutive 4th places on the mountain stages in the Giro della Valle d'Aosta while being the only guy on his team left in the race during all those stages).

He threw away about 3 or 4 seconds coasting across the line, though he was exhausted and understandable, but still he is on 46 seconds on GC and 4 seconds behind behind 5th and 5 seconds to 4th. I guess it would depend on if his attributes to go for GC though, if not giving those seconds may not matter.

I assume he wasn't thinking too much about the GC. I don't expect him to be among the best riders on Col de la Loze tomorrow.
