Hahaha why on earth would nordhaug leadout Kennaugh. How overrated is that kid...

Who else have Sky got at this race? I am pretty sure they didn't mean to hit the front, they were riding for Kennaugh's GC.

Great win by Sagan once again, he is a class apart from the rest of the field on these finishes.

Sagan in front of Paul Martens
Are you Danny Nelissen?

Anyway, impressive sprint by both Sagan and Matthews. The latter really came from nowhere.

Apparently he's more explosive than Nordhaug...

Congrats to you that you can make out wether it's Paul Martens or Michael Matthews on a crappy internetstream just a second after the finish, theyoungest ;)
My only source therefore was Danny Nelissen and just hoping that he gets it right for once. (obviously didn't, what else is new)

Also, hooray for points for Cav! He's still not going to win.

Cav the big winner today getting himself another dom.

Yeah. That's what I've been trying to say. Extra domestique just bought and paid for by Kennaugh scraping that 5th.
All Sky were interested in, these past 2 stages.

You can see it from their style of sprinting. Even on a crappy stream.

Obviously it's a huge thing, but it's not all they're going for. The want Kennaugh to challenge for the overall GC.

congrats to you then. I sure couldn't. Then again, I was focussed on Sagan vs Feillu.

They would be chuffed if he could top 10. Maybe there next goal is to have cummings in every renaining breakaway and try and scrape a point.

Ahh, when you say it, it was quite clear that Kennaugh just wanted that world tour point. Sky trying hard to assure Cav as many men as possible who can push him up that 300 meter hill in Denmark...

Sky are not stupid enough to imagine that Kennaugh can challenge Scarponi, Martin, Sagan (or about five others) in the GC. A lot is expected of him, but if he was able to challenge those guys at this point in his career he wouldn't be a promising prospect any more, he'd be a huge star.

I hope that the parcours is considerably tougher tomorrow. I have no interest in watching a foregone conclusion sprint in every single stage. I like Sagan almost as much as I like Martin, but if he's going to win the GC here, I want him to have to show his climbing chops not just his tricky finish sprinting.

Nice win by Sagan, but I can't see him in yellow after tomorrow. 3500m up, that's just too much for a non-climber. He should save himself for Saturday.

I'm sure he means there's a total of 3500 meters of climbing on the stage.

Btw stage 3 of this year's tour de suisse there was almost 3000 m of climbing, and Sagan won. (Big downhill run to the finish, not a MTF however)

That was an epic stage, but I don't think we'll see Sagan repeat that success tomorrow.

We must also remember that last year in Stage 6, the legend rose up and claimed victory:

Alas, TGBM decided to let others have his glory in Poland, and so someone else must celebrate his excellency tomorrow.

I think Scarponi takes the stage, and Martin the GC.

I THink you guys are being a bit disrespectful towards Kennaugh. He probably won't win but I don't see anyone else at sky winning either. A worlds point is a bonus for GB but it was made clear at the start that he would be their protected rider in this race after his performance at Route Du Sud.

I don't get the comments to be honest. Let the kid have a go for a stage win. He's spent a lot of races working his nuts off for others so far.

Anyway, Sagan is such a massive talent. That guy could dominate major races in the future, probably more so than Gilbert.

How could he possibly dominate races more than Gilbert does? Jump away, let himself get caught, and jump away again, just for the fun of it?

How is calling him a promising prospect rather than a current star disrespectful? It's true.

As far as tomorrow is concerned, either the climbers attack hard and don't look back or Sagan will win. Nibali's ride today made it very clear that Sagan was talking down his chances and that he is serious about winning. He can't climb with a peak form Martin or Scarponi if they put it all on the line, but if they ride tempo for too long they'll find him hanging on.
