Rather surprised that the group was so big today, not so surprised that Sagan was up there. Tomorrow is the queen stage and there are over 50 riders within a minute of yellow. It's going to be nervous and difficult to control since there's not a lot of flat and from what I know the gradients are steeper. Liquigas looked pretty strong and the final climb was not hard enough to make a decisive split. Scarponi and Danny Boy got in a dangerous looking move about 1km from the top, but Liquigas controlled it until near the top and knew that they could then leave the rest to Sagan. Tomorrow, Scarponi and Danny Boy will try again, the elastic is likely to split, but TdP is always decided by seconds. Do wonder why Sky led out the sprint. They are obviously protecting Kennaugh for the GC, but I'm sure they would think that top 10 would be a great success.

Phil vs. Pete

Just a small reminder - Gilbert about Sagan...

Gilbert, like everyone else, is running out of superlatives. Famously modest, even he admitted that there may only be one man in the world who can currently compete with him on an uphill finish like the one to Mont des Alouettes: 21-year-old Peter Sagan -still judged too young to tackle the Tour by his Liquigas team.

“I think he can beat me on a finish like this,” Gilbert conceded. “I think he’s the only one who can compete with me on a course like this.”

Ok, to answer all your questions how tomorrow stage looks Ive just made this:

the first lap:

http://www.bikemap.net/route/1164283

its up 830m

second, third and fourth laps:

http://www.bikemap.net/route/1164272

its up 1120m x 3 = 3360m

so the whole stage is 208km long and 4190m up

Definitely the hardest climbs are here:

Gliczarów, its only ~4%, but theres 500m with 20%:

According to the ticker Nibali, Scarponi, Seeldrayers, Paterski, Machado, Riblon etc in the break? The course is way harder than expected.

E: Might be my bad :D Now the translation came and it says "prior to the departure", whatever that means.

They've been brought back, but Pujol seems to be away again (waiting for confirmation). There were some very good riders up there. Going to be a crazy day.
My guess is that is a list of the main big names (including Nibali and Scarponi). At first I thought it meant they all did not start.

Astana are the one that are chasing from the Peloton, the ticker just mentioned Gasparotto and Kessiakoff because they are up there in the GC.
