Aru +1:09 on climb like that? I'm wondering what's going on here. He's supposed to be climbing supertalent.

Great for Vakoc, he estimated his powers well.

same buildup as Nibali last year + think he crashed at first stage
And yes, he is a supertalent

maybe hmmm he doesn't care?
not exactly an uphill sprinter and is 10 minutes behind in gc. so no point for him to go strong
his peak will be in la vuelta

So 22 man in the same time. Says enough really. On to the more interesting mountains in Utah
It was a powerclimb all the way to the top. Didn't look remotely as though there were any sections above 7% (graphics said 16% max  ). 22 riders in the same time is just to be expected. Nice sprint by Majka. He's on a winning streak right now! I think Izaguirre is still the main favourite for the overall win, with the ITT in mind.

Btw, have any of the Belgians/Dutchies problems with Eurosport as well lately? Had to watch this on a freakin Polish stream because there was no connection to Eurosport on my TV

Anyway one would think that almost it's impossible for such great climber to finish with such big loss on mountain like that, even if he doesn't care.

Could even be the ole Bobby G if he manages to limited losses tomorrow. But if I were a betting man, I'd say Intxausti.

With the Bianchi TT bike? :p

Hesjedal's tactics today deserve appreciation. By driving the pace at a critical point where it would otherwise have dropped as the stage favourites eyed each other he ensured the final time gaps would be minimal. He's given himself a real shot at the overall in the TT.

Lol, Majka is winning by sprinting uphill. That's something new, he really shows a lot of progress this year.

With him its all about confidence. He admits himself that he has a problem coping with pressure, has doubts when on a bike and needs to work hard on it (in an interview from couple days ago so after TdF). I like that he has that punch in him though. Get rid of that psychical limitations and he will be a fun one to watch. A GC win here, however unlikely, would be a major boost, especially considering the amount of racing he has done this year. If that happens I think sky is the limit for him.

Unfortunately I won't see tommorow's stage either :/ Something HAS to happen there.

At least he was inside the time limit.

Unlike Kreuziger on Alpe three years back

Yes Majka! What a sprint, he really wanted to give his Polish fans this win at home.

Well, to your and Polish fans disappointment, today's stage finish was in Slovakia. :D

What a ****ty climb.
Everyone that attacked dropped because the climb was too fast
Not everyone. Hesjedal wasn't dropped.:p

I only wonder who did he try to lead out during last 3 kms.

Please stop this bull****. Of course he is a super talent, did you not watch the Giro? He is probably not in shape and he also crashed earlier in the race.

I think it's more like you wanna bet. Anyway, how you managed to get Kreuziger in Tour de Pologne?

think its a response to your baiting about how a supposed great climber like Aru could loose 1 min in a race he couldn't give 2 ****s about...
