It's the Cancellara complex. "It's no use, so why bother".These guys are racing as if there ISN'T a guy 40-50 seconds up the road.

Well, since that era many guys have done this in bigger races.this is the stuff that merckx and hinault would do. really no one else since.

Remco has this and the whole race in the bag.
He's been pacing, and those 3 aren't closing in, but Carapaz is losing more and more time. The advantage isnt dropping. But can't say he has this until at least over Gliczarow

Boonen at P-R once.
Froome at Giro once.

...silence...
no one.
most exciting, most complete rider since merckx/hinault... and he is barely 20 years old.

Not taking anything away from Remco, but they could have brought him back if they'd worked together. Instead it was if they followed the "How NOT to bring back a breakaway" handbook. It's the Cancellara complex. "It's no use, so why bother".
It. was perfext timing, but no way they would bring him back regardless. Just too strongNot taking anything away from Remco, but they could have brought him back if they'd worked together. Instead it was if they followed the "How NOT to bring back a breakaway" handbook.
Remco's timing was also incredible. If this guy also has great tactical nous to go along with the legs, the peloton is in trouble
I think they could have but the idea that it would have taken real organization shows how strong he is.It. was perfext timing, but no way they would bring him back regardless. Just too strong
