Not sure remco has earned the right to be co-captain with Mattia. Let's see who is stronger in world championships timed trial next week. Imagine this team for vuelta and lombardia all on top form. Remco, Fausto, Mattia, Ilan, Mauri, Mauro, Andrea, Jan.

Really good ride by Mohorič, I thought Almeida would take the GC lead but he hang on strongly.

Cattaneo is in great shape, I wonder if it will be either him or Sobrero getting the second TT place in the Italian team as he can be a dangerous outsider for the Worlds.

Foss disappointing once again, even though his title last year was a surprise he should have been able to fight for the win in a field like this. Bissegger even more disappointing but maybe he took it easy on the corners.

I missed this earlier, but Almeida and Mohoric are also tied in the points classification, with Mohoric leading that one too by tiebreaker. Don't think I've ever seen the same tie for first and second in multiple classifications in the same race before...

The GC is not a tie though, as they are separated by hundredths of a second.

Where has this version of Cattaneo been at literally any point in this or last season?

Last year he was 4th in the Dauphine TT (ahead of Roglic and Vingegaard) and 7th in the final ITT at the Tour, ahead of guys like Schachmann, Tratnik and Küng. Even when his climbing form is bad he can pull a good ITT out of his hat.
