Magnier is quicker than last year. I suspect in the next two years he'll be close to the level of the best sprinters.

Yes, he's only had two race days in the last two months, one of which he didn't finish. Hopefully he's just a bit rusty, and improve at The Deutschland Tour.

being yellow carded pretty much rules Brennan out in any serious bunch sprint imo.

the Zakopane stages rarely deliver, and this one looks particularly uninspiring, but who knows... apparently the final uncategorized (new) climb has one km at >8% towards the top, and the descent (same as usual) is steep as well at the start. Maybe there's still be some attacks in the end.

The breakaway is slighly better as well today, with Plowright, Artz, Svrcek and Gamper currently 6 minutes up the road.

in this case it was mostly the PCS profile which got me confused. It has the top of the climb with 13k to go, while it's in fact only 10
