Hesjedal's been racing quite a lot lately, and usually been there or thereabouts. Hope he is fresh for the Giro.

Why is Matthews riding?
Clearly in rubbish shape, given most of the peloton were left.
Yeah, he got a top-10 in the Brabantse Pijl just two weeks ago, and considering he's working towards the Tour of California he should be better now... he clearly isn't.

Of course, just taking the pizz out of good ole Rabosport.

Eurosport, who admittedly aren't always accurate, reckon the final climb is roughly 200 metres, over about 5kms.
If so, I think your are being a bit pessimistic about Rabo's survival rate chances.
Hardly a wall.

He probably meant that they will get dropped on the stage to Sion, not tomorrow.

I don't think this is how you predicted the stage would pan out... or did deliberately say your usual nonsense so no one would bet on your choice?

He looked quite strong yesterday, maybe he wants to get into a breakaway.

146 Fugslang Jackob Radioshack-Nissan 7:20

His DS has told him to take it easy the first few days, as he's recovering from a slight knee pain.

Fuglsang is supposedly taking it easy. I don't believe that he will do a top 5 in the Giro, but also he won't be finishing in the 100's.

Well, this season he's actually riding and finishing top level races, which is a definite improvement. I think he's not doing bad, all things considered, and I hope he begins showing something in the second half of the season.

He says he's been feeling with "lack of energy" these past few weeks. After studying him, medical staff believes he has asthma and hopes to control this situation from now on, so he can be back at his level.

I think he lost all confidence when Movistar didn't make him an offer.

Kessiakoff is terrible this year, he said it's because of allergies and asthma, but you know...just terrible. Perraud is suprisingly bad, I predicted him top ten. No way Fuglsang can get to top 5 in Giro. He isn't wizard.

A parcours designed for insomniacs.

Lots of people complained about Paris Nice. But at least we had interesting stage finishes. These two stages have been terrible.
