Err, Froome did like 40 km on the front of the peloton in the finale. He did all the pace-making on the final climb...after that he probably saved energy for tomorrow. He did an excellent job as a domestique.Dekker_Tifosi said:131 Froome Chris Sky Pro Cycling 6:35
-Still a long way to go after his infection and parasite shizzle...
That is. Froome in Vuelta form would have continued making pace for another 50km and finished solomaltiv said:Err, Froome did like 40 km on the front of the peloton in the finale. Ok, Froome in Vuelta form would've ridden the entire peloton off his wheel and won by 4 minutes, but that's not the point.

He looked quite strong yesterday, maybe he wants to get into a breakaway.
His DS has told him to take it easy the first few days, as he's recovering from a slight knee pain.
That;s why he took it easy while on the front - to make sure Cavendish and Thomas stayed in the raceIf he was on form then everybody would have finished outside the time limit

Why? Bak is a pretty good climber. He's been top 20 overall in the Giro and Vuelta.RedheadDane said:Have to say; I LoLed so hard when I read the Bak has claimed the KoM!
Even if he doesn't defend it...

I see. Well, I definitely hope you Danes get some success soon, been a pretty dire year for you so far. Hopefully Fuglsang can do something about that in the Giro.RedheadDane said:It was a Now this is awesome LoL!![]()
Before long the Danish riders will be sitting heavily on all the KoMs!
And don't forget that Lars is just back from an injury...
and Bak actually won the Tour l'Avenir (back when there were still team selections and it was -25 instead of -23)RedheadDane said:It was a Now this is awesome LoL!![]()

What's the difference with Norway? Nordhaug winning a race on Mallorca?maltiv said:I see. Well, I definitely hope you Danes get some success soon, been a pretty dire year for you so far..
isn't he that stating he's going for top ten last Vuelta, than went for one hour record and so? I haven't notices anything of this yet... Isn't he riding like a coward than? EBH has a stage at T-A and Algarve, as well as a 5th place in G-W and 2 point jerseys (lol).theyoungest said:What's the difference with Norway? Nordhaug winning a race on Mallorca?

yeah I know, that thing with coward was only question on Ryo, I really don't think he rides like a coward. But did he set the best time for Kazakhstan? I don't think so...did he even try, or just spoke? I know that he raced little in Lampre, but not so little. That had a reason - he was bad and is further in Astana even if he races more. Look at Kreuziger who wasn't racing since Tour, or Boonen, or Horner - ale of them with health issues for a long time and are racing very well since start of the season.markene2 said:The top 10, or rather the top 5 is correct as you said. But the hour record is not. It was a transelation error. Kash said that he would try to set the best time for Kazakhstan in the new veldrome. And no, he is not riding like a coward, he is finding his form. Remember how few race days he had with Lampre. It's not strange that he is improving race by race now.
