I think he knew he was 2nd.Another for the celebrating too early thread.
ExactlyI actually thought he was protesting his own teammate's sprint at first!
Have a feeling Vlasov was going for the win but realised he didn’t get it and celebrated for Higuita, enjoyable and hilarious finish.Pretty sure Vlasov was celebrating for Higuita, he looked over just before he raised his arms to make sure Higuita gets it and no one else was there. Still did look very amusing.
Why don't you get that Vlasov is celebrating for Higuita and Bora?![]()

Bora has had a great season so far with a couple of riders winning races.
And then riders like Schachmann and Bennett has not been in form at all.
I was thinking the same, remember the MTT between Roglic and Pogacar a few years ago? The final mountain stage one day later was really good.MTT tomorrow, kills racing today. Would have been better to have them the other way around I think.
Apparently you don't remember that well eitherI was thinking the same, remember the MTT between Roglic and Pogacar a few years ago? The final mountain stage one day later was really good.
No it’s notNo wonder so many Aussies do well here, it's as boring as Tour Down Under.
Bora should study Saunier Duval on how to it properly.Of course he celebrated that Higuita was winning and the team getting 1st and 2nd on the stage
He's young and measuring himself against WT riders as a captain for the first time, can't blame him for trying.By the way, Bora should definitely send some beers to Plapp as a thank you, very weird move to pull Rubio back for...nothing? I guess he thought he might get a gap but in a headwind with about 30 riders still there...meh.
