they said it was Ayuso who did a pull and then went to the side. but he ended up near the front. so either it wasnt him or that was an incredible ride.

depending on how they use him, ayuso could surprise here, me thinks...

I forgot Fuglsang rides for them now. Again.

Point still stands though, they tried to control the finale and got swamped.

their hiring choices have been horrendous.

they keep handing out contracts to riders who are arguably just (or very) past their best years...

Ineos messed up the final by using Sheffield to set up Thomas when Sheffield clearly a far punchier rider at this point in time.

tho i dont think they were looking for the stage win. it was more about keeping G in GC contention, i think. so sheffield got sacrificed.
