I know Foss said he had been sick and didn’t have hopes of fighting for GC win before the race started, but this is still disappointing.

Foss beaten by Barta, Oliveira and the husband to a beautiful wife, can't even blame it being a climber's course. As we all already knew when it happened, his world title is a bit of a fluke.

After his WC title I immediately said he won't win a Protour TT this year. Although he was close in the prologue.

That was a big surprise after Ayuso struggled on the final climb in yesterday's stage. Lets see how he performs in the Queen stage.
My guess is he will be struggling again tomorrow, totally different effort. With Yates (and Fisher-Black) close in GC, they got another chance up the climb.

Should be fun in here during the Giro the 1st time a rider gets dropped on a technical descent, and the folks who weren’t reading this thread are wondering “why all these wife comments?” :)

There will also be a lot of confusion when Remco is not going too badly on a descent - because we've all seen pictures of his wife.

I'm also looking forward to the next time someone who's disliked on here is on the attack and there are a bunch of people 'cheering' on him to do it for his wife.
