Ayuso was really good in the prologue last year as well.

Good that he's back.
Didn't expect him to fly like this in his first race after coming back from that injury.

New best time from Cerny, looks like the old, drunk shepard and his herding dog Remco have made the sheepherd run a bit faster...

Interested to see what Vernon does here, beat Cerny by 7 seconds to win last year's equal-length prologue in Slovakia.
also broke a 5 mile Strava record back at home last week, so seems to have prepared specifically for this

Disappointing Carlos Rodri isn't here, but Bernal and Ayuso should be very interesting to follow! Hopefully this race can kickstart a comeback culminating in a good Vuelta later (I dont expect Bernal to go to France..)

Anyways, how's Carlos? Anybody have a clue? Because looking at the team, he should honestly have the biggest upside this Tour, but its a problem if he isn't able to race.. obviously. Then youre looking at Pidcock and Felipe Martinez, and I dont really believe in either. This year that is - I thought Felipe Martinez would be better than G and Yates last year, and that turned out to be a pretty bad prediction after all.

Vauquelin worse than expected.

Izagirre really bad too. Lots of Liege riders performing pretty bad it seems. Not that surprising.
