he crashed in Flèche Wallonne and had problems due to pain the days after

That's more understandable, but still this is VERY bad. A christen at 70% still follows this peloton. Wouldn't surprise me if he's getting ill or something.

Not sense: Pogacar TDF 2023, Vingegaard TDF 2024.

FW one day. This become noticeable when you have consecutive days of competition.

Dude, it was a 3km TT yesterday.

Naaa, don´t know if you can count the 4 minutes from yesterday as a consecutive day of competition...
Well, in another thread it is being said that Remo didn´t perform well in Liege for this reason. Liège was three days after Flecha and several days after the race he won.

Who is EF riding for?

Nerurkar? I know he's not slow and has a decent puch, but he ain't beating Brennan.

Good to see some crowds on a weekday along what I think would normally be a fairly quiet road.

And now some nice heli shots of a lake and 57km to go.

Is Visma reeling the break back in early because they want to go for bonus seconds with Brennan in those two intermediate sprints? Bigger odds in getting the leaders jersey like this. Although they won't get there in time for the first one.

not 100% sure, but I think Bittner etc still didn't make it back, so if so, they probably want to keep them behind.

Ha! I just saw a rider back in the peloton with one foot unclipped and letting that leg dangle for quite awhile--that was always my trick to try to relieve sciatic nerve weakness. I should have copyrighted the maneuver!

Afaik, there's no bonus seconds in the intermediate sprints.

Break caught with 24km to go, but well done Zwiehoff and Kuypers! (Zwiehoff gets the KOM jersey and Kuypers gets the combativity sprint, according to PCS.)

Only 20km to go

when Scottsen climbed back onto his bike after the crash, the team car passing at that moment missed him by inches. If that. He didn't even flinch. Amazing their aren't more accidents with team cars. I know the DS's and their drivers are very experienced driving in and out of the peloton, still it's surprising it doesn't happen more often.
