Once again Lipo proves he's the real deal in Bora when it comes to GTs and shorter Tours.
Great comparison with Basso, even tho Basso was better overall.
Remove from the equation the duo Pogi/Vingo and Bora has probably the two best Tour contenders in Lipo and Giulio.

I would still rate healthy Almeida over Lipowitz though.
As for Pellizzari, his best performance in a big race is the 3rd place in TA. Kinda early to put him top 5.
He may well be after the Giro, but not yet.

Goes a bit under the radar, but I find AWP's performance impressive. I think he was supposed to be mostly a classics guy, but he is performing strong here. Admittedly, the field isn't too deep and stages aren't the hardest, but he is still in top 10.

Guess he'll drop couple of places tomorrow, but still impressive.

That was a weird comment from VPP as Pog was mostly filmed from the back for the entire time in the last part of the race. Doing it without watching images is quite stupid. That was quite bold and foolish.

Also singling out that Pog benefits from it and bringing in the organiser... when we literally see this in pretty much every race where riders benefit is quite weird as well.

That comment wont be appreciated.

As in other races. When will the pressure get so high that the UCI does something about it?
The UCI may say they’re doing something about it or make a small, cosmetic change, but not a significant improvement. Race organizers & lead broadcast networks would have to be the ones to do that.

Last 2 days, it was Ineos and RB working. Good try VPP. They are getting so angry because they are miles behind Pogacar. At this point, riders are being vocal because it's their only chance of getting some spotlight.
Not in the leadup to the finale it wasn't.

he is obviously talking about the peloton getting help, not specifically Pogacar himself. No idea if it happened more than usual, though.
So why is he mentioning Pogacar? It's not like he was helped more than others. In fact, those days (yesterday and before yesterday) VPP is mentioning, the most helped team was Ineos.

Age for age, Lipowitz has been better than Bass, so far,

The reason Pogi looked worse then normal at the finish, was ... the gym!
https://cyclinguptodate.com/cycling...limbs-raise-potential-tour-de-france-question
After a Spring campaign built around races such as Milano-Sanremo and Paris-Roubaix, Pogacar confirmed that his current weight is higher than in a typical stage race build-up. “Yeah, it's not – I won't deny that I'm heavier than usual, but yeah, I feel good on the bike. That's what's for me the most important, that I don't struggle and have a good time.”
Pressed further on that change, he pointed directly to his training focus in recent months. “Yeah. I mean I got a little bit carried away in the gym also. I really, really liked it and got into it. So maybe now it's time to back off a little bit.” ....
For now, the Slovenian remains firmly in charge of the general classification and on course for overall victory. But his own words suggest that, even in winning, Romandie has already provided an early reference point.
With the Tour de France looming, the balance between his Classics power and climbing efficiency may yet become one of the defining themes of his season.

He's obviously talking about earlier when UAE were pulling and filmed from the front.

In the finale, the motos were very careful not to film anyone from the front (which, sadly, doesn't make for great viewing).
