Boonen said before the start they would work for Chichi as he had already won here once. Their plan seems to have worked out. Good start of the season, first victory already scored. Are we going to have a thread again about last WT team without a victory again? :D I loved that thread.

astana have brought in some good stage winners like bozic (not to say he's won much but he can win) and guys like silin and ponzi will certainly step up.

Why were there such big splits? I mean Chicci is usually one to get dropped pretty easily when there is a climb involved.
