BMC & LRP must wonder about support - after GvA was done, TJ did 30 seconds and that was it! Kaboom ...

I doubt that TJVG understands what being a Domestique entails, have never seen him perform in that role to any extent that could be called useful. GVA on the other hand is not renowned for when the road points upward to any great extent, so him dropping off is understandable.

GVA worked a lot, he took a big shift. Of course, because we are talking about Van Avermaet, one of the most respected riders of the peloton.

Lets wait with the TJ-bash. Its very possible his level simply isn't higher.

Well TJVG did well there, not dropped, even all of BMC made it too.

Yeah, but he is riding all out in the break, because of his GC - so will probably be spent at the end.... same with Monfort, obviously.

The 4 behind are working like clockwork, the front group is breaking up, because Taaramae and Gogl will not work.

I predict the two groups come together.

They got rid of Taaramae with a couple of attacks, they should be able to work now.

Cort group looks around 20 secs behind.

I think the other GC teams, are forcing BMC to do all the work today, so Porte is vulnerable tomorrow.

The front group has to start playing tactical games, if they are to get caught.

I get that from Sunweb for sure, but I feel like some of the sprinter teams should be working with BMC for what should probably be a bunch sprint judging by the profile.

I get that from Sunweb for sure, but I feel like some of the sprinter teams should be working with BMC for what should probably be a bunch sprint judging by the profile.

Because the sprinters have probably not made it back yet...... I guess?

Because it's the only real chance for climbers this year...... otherwise they may as well all quit and hand him the jersey.
