Yeah, I think he is laying in bed crying right now. Spent 3 weeks preparing in Italy (peaked way too early) and then came back tired for the race that matters most. Tour de Suisse 2017 will be seen as a new step in human evolution - and Tommy D won't be a part of it. I bet even Hegel is getting real mad in his grave right now.
 
I guess Pantano was pulled out to recuperate and be ready for Contador at the Tour. No more point in being in the race anymore.

Strange some riders this year have kept the racing kilometers to be ready for the Tour. Besides there is no reason to risk a crash in the remaining mountainous stages.

When was the last time that the giro winner showed up in suisse or the dauphine and actually performed well?
He shouldnt have started obviously. Mistake by the team imo.

Well, on the upside since it's second tier riders left now in the race, we should be in for fun racing and tighter time gaps.
