1. Who will Visma be racing for?
2. I don't think Van Eetvelt is in the race
3. It will be interesting to see how Van Gils and Nys do
4. I will also be watching how Lecerf rides...I think he's a future star
Van Eetvelt was/is recovering from a nasty knee injury and surgery.... But was also hit by a car a few days ago. We no longer see him in shape for the Vuelta.
Nys had a terrible crash a few days ago during a sprint. Moreover, he is tired after Romandie, Hungary and Norway.
Van Gils is preparing for the Tour. I consider him as a dark horse (top 10 ?) in the Tour.
Lecerf is (too) young and has not the engine for a difficult Tour de Suisse. But he should/could go in a break.

Why does the team pretend that Fausto doesn't exist??? There is no update or anything from them. Fausto was not active on social media at all recently, it makes me worry he is having another difficult period.
Maybe they think he's too big a star rider for this race, so they pulled him out to to save energy to take leadership at the Tour. Looking at the way Remco rode the Dauphine, that may be their thinking.

These Suisse climb profiles always fool me, they can look reasonably difficult and primed for an opportunists attack, then they get there and the road is so pristine and wide that the sprinters fly over it. I think it will depend on the nature of the surface as to whether they can get over it.
