This is a great Prologe in a beuatiful landscape and town.
This is a real form test already. I doN't think Cancellara is at 100%already. So somebody might steel it.
Rain would suck of course. The descent is really tricky and dangerous.

for the prologue

I wish to see Cancellara winning this stage . To show us he finally recovered from his nasty injury. Ideally, It would be great if he just win by a few seconds and we see a new crop of challengers. Sagan and others for those spots

I'd like to see it too, but he got clobbered at Bayern so I'm not optimistic.

Not to sound like Andy Schleck, but in the rain this prologue will be extremely dangerous. Taking risks will be awarded by higher placings as the downhill is extremely vital, but could also result in serious injuries.

I think the standings will be very different at the finish line than at the first check point. Most riders who are looking ahead to the TDF will be careful in the descent, but there are probably some riders who'll risk it all for a top 10 here...

To my memory, it has been that way for the last two years in this prologue. It's always raining over there.

Cancellara - Kloden - Leppi

Gesink is on a roll but I don't think he has enough power for that type of exercise. He'll win the TDS though.

2010 on a 7.6km course (0.2 km longer)

1 Fabian Cancellara (Swi) Team Saxo Bank 0:10:21
2 Roman Kreuziger (Cze) Liquigas-Doimo 0:00:01
3 Tony Martin (Ger) Team HTC - Columbia 0:00:03
4 Peter Sagan (Svk) Liquigas-Doimo
5 Dries Devenyns (Bel) Quick Step 0:00:10
6 Gustav Erik Larsson (Swe) Team Saxo Bank 0:00:11
7 Thomas Lövkvist (Swe) Sky Professional Cycling Team 0:00:12
8 Manuel Quinziato (Ita) Liquigas-Doimo 0:00:13
9 Simon Gerrans (Aus) Sky Professional Cycling Team

2011 : 7.1km
2012 : 7.3km

Too bad they don't use the exact same course each year!

1. Fabian
2. Klodi
3. Fuglsang

Wouldn¨t be surprised if Fuglsang win this race, he´s in great form and got something to prove now he got a chance to be one of the Team leaders in the tour.
