Lets have a decent size map. My eyes can't cope.

Another town loop by the looks of it.
Maybe someone like Sanchez will give it a go off the 3rd cat?
Or maybe not. This is just a Tour tune up, after all.

Looks like being wet one - similar stage to Wednesday. Could be a tricky day for Gesink / Rabobank to control. That final descent will be treacherous - if Gesink comes through today ok he'll win the race I think

This has been a great race so far with interesting parcour. It encourages attacking racing which is exciting.:) 50km complete - no break.

16 are away, including Friere and Flecha.

[edit]Good strong break, lots of fast finishers in it (Breschel, Van Avermat)

Matti Breschel (Saxo Bank), Aliaksandr Kuschynski, Manuel Quinziato both (Liquigas), Maxim Iglinskiy (Astana), Mark Renshaw (HTC), Marcus Burghardt, Mathias Frank (both BMC), Greg Van Avermaet (Omega), Luis Leon Sanchez (Caisse), Oscar Freire, Tom Leezer (both Rabobank), Daniel Sesma (Euskaltel), Jürgen Van De Walle (Quickstep), Matthew Wilson (Garmin), Juan Antonio Flecha (Sky) and Michal Golas (Vacansoleil).

Frank can win the KOM this stage if he can get some points.:)

Whoever is writing the ticker has forgotten that Flecha left Rabo for Sky...

Yes... Yesterday they said that Gesink "wasn't much of a climber" either. They ain't the quickest bunch.

I guess it is about points. Frank must of shut down as he would not finish 12 mins behind after being in the same break as Poels.

Frank even dropped on one of the climbs earlier in the break... *but luckily the pace dropped*

Anyway, useless discussion since ACF will never admit Poels being better than Frank this Tour de Suisse

DT, someone in the same break on the final climb who gets caught on the same part of the climb loses 12 minutes more than the other rider. Something is not right there. There was also a descnt. Surely you can see this logic.

I swear you two would find something to argue about in a thread about the sky being blue.

Seriously? I remember the ticker mentioned the Vacansoleil rider going with Gesink and Schleck was "possibly Westra". Which I thought was quite funny.

Gesink isn't a great climber but he should make this.

I don't know what they were thinking.
