On the ticker
:D
14:59 CEST
Classics specialist Flecha (who will laugh about this weather) is the best-placed rider in the group. He is currently 27th behind yellow jersey Robert Gesink (Rabobank), at 8'24" - but isn't going to steal the overall lead from a team-mate... or would he??

15:05 CEST
BMC's Mathias Frank is quite a phenomenon. He was already in the break yesterday, and again today. The Swiss native is very motivated for his home race...

The gap has come down slightly, to 4 minutes.

The work as live-ticker is quite hard mind you.

I've done it on a few occasions in track cycling and you really have to be concentrated all the time, especially during madison.

Road racing has less going on but the only info you have as ticker is race-radio probably... and you have to type fast

OH MY GOD stop posting your god-damn youtube denkoff.

Also, Hedwig now thinks that Renshaw rides for Sky. Clearly she is having a bad day.

How could renshaw be attacking when he went backwards out of the break. This is crazy!

It's not that hard to work such things out.

I understand they want to protect Gesink's lead, but I would have expected they would let the gap go out a bit longer than four minutes, it's close enough now that another team could reel it back in if they wanted to.

If I understand correctly LL Sanchez is only at 6 minutes. You don't want to let him get to close for the TT

Frank gets 2 more points. Should secure KOM unless poels gets in break tommorow.

JUST IN: LLS takes 2nd place points from BMC's frank as he wants to take all success from Cadel's teammates because he does not like Spaniards. :D
