Yes, auscyclefan94. ACF was a massive Cadel Evans fan but he wasn't a one eyed fanboy.

Jancouver seemed to have it in for anything Australian? I thought he was irrational in his dislike for Richie Porte. Maybe Porte was why he hated the TDU? But the Forum has certainly had some characters over the years who we don't forget.
ACF94 was a great part of the forum, especially his debates with the Dutch mafia on the forum at that time. Jancouver was definitely irrational, but I think purposely so! :)

I usually just checked the results in these prep races before strade/msr/ PN/TA and the other major races starts but this year im gonne tune in, im hyped.

1. Curious to see Narvaez status/how strong now in UAE. Also Torres ofc.
2. Van Baarle hope he is not washed and show signs of awakening.
3. Schmid finished the season very strong, does that excels further into this.
4. Plapp, Onley, Williams.

Lets get this party started.

Since there's apparently some conspiration for force us Danes to actually sleep - like, what the hell? - I'm gonna need someone who can watch the race to film themselves performing an interpretive dance summarising each stage and upload it here.
If I wasn't old and feeble and actually liked social media/TikTok I'd probably give it a go. 🤣

Speaking of old my main man Esteban Chaves just turned 35 a couple of days ago (🥂), not really sure what his role at EF is at this point. Hopefully he'll have a nice TDU though.

I think it's a pretty good start list, I mean sure, none of the current biggest names in cycling will be there, but you've got some of the talented youngsters (you mentioned the impressive Pablo Torres), and also some of the geriatrics who I'll be cheering on. So, I think it'll be fun.

He was the most popular rider at the Teams Presentation. Gotta say it was a well organised presentation.

Emil Axelgaard just handing out stars to everyone and their hamster!

First for the GC:

And here's for stage 1:

So same procedure as the last 12 years, what's the surprise?

To be fair, I've never really bothered reading the previews when they were on feltet.dk, what with the important stuff being way down at the buttom.
Definitely an improvement that the ratings are at the top!

Yeah, it's quite a scroll job. It also doesn't help his case that TV2 article apparently need to be written with size 60 letters. But it's still too long and repetitive (try counting how many times he writes how Willunga Hill was not part of the route in 2023). The only important bits - if it isn't the first time you hear of the race - are parts of the stage description and his analysis of the favourites at the bottom.

At TV2 he is apparently not allowed to post maps and profiles, which is a shame because then you have to open his links to see them which severely lessens the experience. But I guess that's a rights issue which was ignored on Feltet.

I assume Visma to win one. I hope Julius at UAE fights for one at least and the I hope the Aussies show great abilities. Jay Wine for overall.

Treks new asset Albert is interesting. The young lad must go easy, sit tight and learn to read the pro peloton. I hope he is the new star on sky, but I have no expectation.
