Hi, sorry for interrupting discussion about epic battle between Alejandro and Cadel ;) but what do you say on Peter Sagan? For 19 year old neo pro in his first big race (+ with 18 stitches from stage 2 fall) to be 4th is not bad? Good active riding style, he really looks great to me. Bet we´ll hear a lot about him in the future ;)

Sagan looks great. Wyss is also flying . George's Capt America bike looks like it was handmade for a circus. Robbie and O'Grady are both knocking it around, both look like they have some snap. With the torque that Griepel shows in the last 100m he looks like the wheel to be on for the last few days.

anyone hear Sherwen's horrendous Aussie Accent impression in the SBS highlights when Mick Rogers was giving the drinks out to Michelin Bert on the front of the Columbia train? he tried it for about 5 words coughed and went back to normal... Oh and did you know, Lance Armstrong could win this race you know, but no Cadel, he just came to party. Phil Ligget told me.

OMG... surely news that momentous deserves its own thread... stickyed and with poll!! :p

Were any spanish looking riders seen dropping sharp objects in the road? Or did a syringe fall out of his jersey? Were there any astana fans seen on any grassy knolls?

19 years old... that's not too shabby at all. What's up with these mountain bikers? They make seasoned road pros look like a bunch of tourists.

I finally watched the video--seems to me that Valverde spoiled Evans's 2nd place- am I wrong? - looks like those two have a riff going on:D

You're probably right. I don't think Cadel was too happy after the Dauphine last year when Valverde & Contador kept him in check. I'll be curious to see how this plays out. It'll make watching the races they do together more interesting the same way it will now be with Armstrong & Contador.
