little mark might think the commentators and writers know "jack ****" about cycle racing.
he definently knows "jack ****" about winning friends and influencing people.

tosser!

maybe he doesn't care? certainly entertaining to watch this kind of behavior in road cycling.. much much better than the overt smugness found with most uber bicycle race winners.

He's doing the macarena! Cav style... Chav style... he own's it.
please don't give me a hard time for the misuse of the word "style".

I can't hear you ferminal. 7th, 11th on the stage. In the breakaway again with the sprint jersey and woin the team classification for the
day.

btw, pettachi's is better!

Obviously I'm not going to respond to someone who takes things so seriously.

Amazing how quickly some forget how serious the TEAMS CLASSIFICATION is.

(Of which BMC is still down the bottom)

Watched the finish last night - it was Ben Swift on his wheel, and it didn't look like he sat up, he just looked knackered.

cavendish's apology

PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM CAVENDISH

30th April 2010 - Please find below an apology that Mark Cavendish wishes to be released today.

"I want to publicly apologize for the gesture I made on the finish line of the Tour de Romandie yesterday. I did want to make a statement to my critics but I realize that making a rude gesture on the finish line is not the best way to do that. I apologize to everybody watching the race and especially the kids. I am not proud of releasing the feelings in that way. I hope I can redeem myself and show my feelings and passion for cycling with some exciting results in the next couple of months rather than with gestures such as the one yesterday."

Coverage starting at 1600CET.

Rogers for this one.

Ben Swift didnt sit up yesterday he just got burned off. As for Cavendish- he won so easily even if the field wasnt that special so thats what counts. Obviously that has upset so many people here but life is so cruel sometimes.

OK back to the TT.

I don't care if Cav wins or not. But he could at least try to do it with a little decency (or class, of which everyone but a certain poster knows what it means). Mentally, the guy is a 12 year old.
