Very nice win by Yates. Now someone sign him and his brother up to a world tour team for next year.

Yates was awesome today.

Might move into the position of being the top favorite for Florence, even though so far the Brits considered Adam as more suited for the course.

Team Sky hasnt exactly dominated the race in previous years, only placing one rider in the top 10 on each occasion since Team Sky was formed.

2010 - Greg Henderson (3rd)
2011 - Steve Cummings (2nd)
2012 - Knees (9th)

To be fair they have seemed to treat it is a PR exercise, meet and greet the fans, get locked in a couple of pubs etc.

Even Wiggo gave that an oblique mention in an interview.

Actually it was a pretty big target for the team in the first two years (not so much in 2012 after the Tour win). I remember a particularly epic Sky tactical fail on a stage to Stoke in the 2010 event.

Yeah for reasons unknown Wiggo sat up after setting Greg Henderson up for a sprint and lost a minute.

Any thoughts for stage 7? Maybe break can stay away? Think Cav will get beat either way, finish looks good for Viviani or maybe Ciolek if its a sprint

Didn't Cav win in Guilford last year?
