Vernon is going to be a lethal sprinter when he realises you're allowed to stand up on the pedals, fair play for not shutting the door though because that could've gone quite badly for Magnier.

Don't know why I had Lamperti in my head, meant Magnier. Probably said Lamperti because they are the new guys who rode well together in the beginning of the season.

Which will be a shame as it was beautiful out on part of the stage route today with a nice breeze thats all tail and head and side depending on the direction of the route, and roads have been swept for once though still occasional bits of glass and gravel in the gutters and some, not all holes patched.

Is he? De Lie has gravitated increasingly towards raw power and durability and is better on short hills than in flat sprints at this point, whereas Magnier is more a sprinter who gets over hills well. Also think De Lie is currently the better of the two at everything that isn't a flat sprint.
