Surely Ala has overtaken Froome as the ugliest rider. Not in facial features but the way he rides. His arms are all over the place. Plus he's out of form and could be the last few days in those stripes. Nice win by VA and hope Hayter can hold on for the overall.

I'm disappointed to see that today's arrival in Edinburgh is by Holyrood in Queen's Drive, without passing through the town centre.

I was hoping the finish could be more central or at least that the peloton would pass through the cobbled streets. Would have been real fun and an interesting finish.

Easy for Lampaert, but I think he was going to win in any event, having Ballerini there and in theory being freshest.

Jorgenson's a pretty decent rider all in all. Not quite sure what he's best at but he's still pretty young.

Lampaert was simply the strongest in the end, I don't think they did the best they could from a tactical / team point of view.
