no matter what people say, a half decent tour in usa is needed and its good see a mix of hte pro teams and the local teams in it.

1lap predictions lads disapointed no betting on this.

Why isn't anybody posting?
Is everyone asleep?
Just watching... and thus far, comments are about the coverage in Europe. Or the same old tired bashing of phil and paul.

BJM about to get caught. I hope we see some more attacks from the domestic teams, they're wasting their time if they try to go head-to-head with Garmin and HTC in the sprint.

Hope so. 10 kms left, Garmin and Htc at the front already, a bit boring if they just continue like this for three laps.

lol Sherwen suggests Ligget will have trouble calling the haedo brothers in the sprint as they are brothers and next to eachother.

Umm, paul, I seriously doubt Liget has ever heard of them.

I think HTC have the pace so high that none of the locals is going to be able to take a flyer.

Why is there no ambient noise on the amgen feed?
Because they aren't using the canned sounds that most other broadcasters feel compelled to add - as if we can not tell the difference between a shot from a helicopter and a motorscooter.

On Eurosport you can actually hear the crowd cheering, though. There's no helicopter noise or anything like that.

There's no crowd noise, though. I don't think there is any audio coming from the motorbikes at all.
