Wow there's no point riding the Tour this year! Radioshack would 1-9 it, after this dominant display in the 2nd most important race.

It's too bad most of the euros come to this race for training. This stage could have been interesting.

Maybe they should pay some of the top guys huge sums of cash just like the Tour Down Under did.

They still wouldn't take it seriously they'd just show up. The only way they could make the top be here in any sort of form would be to give about a million dollars to the winner.

I talked to the rabobank team this morning, and they said that this had to be Laurens Ten Dam's today. I am glad that became true. Great ride by him

Long time since I've seen a MTF where 1 team was at the front all the time and not one single attack was launched. Almost like watching a normal sprint leadout, except that it was uphill and no other teams were present...

Horner should have sprinted at the end when Levi raised his arms and then turned around laughed and said "Haha I win".

The problem with this race now, for me personally, is not the parcours, but the lineup. Not a single rider I care about, and it seems radioshack is the only team that takes the race entirely seriously. I've got nothing against the ToC, and I really wanted today to be good, but that was pretty disappointing.

Ok, so I bought all the hype and decided to watch this stage live and what do we get, a rerun of the Postal years except worse with some unknown Shack guy(sorry Matt Busche) riding everbody except Horner and Levi off his wheel. WTF.

I was watching in disbleif as the Garmin guys were dropped one by one and there are some serious good climbers on that team. Dont know what to think really.

Not one single attack, nada. Someone suggested earlier that this was going to be more exciting than the Giro:rolleyes:
